Soft Sugar Cookies

We made these this week to decorate and take to neighbors and I thought I'd share the recipe.  It makes plenty to share!  (Does anyone have a really good frosting recipe?  I hate store-bought frosting but try as I may, I haven't found the perfect recipe yet!)

3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
5 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 tsp. baking powder

Mix wet ingredients, then add dry and mix well.  Chill in fridge for 45 minutes.  Roll and cut into cookies.  Bake at 375 for 5-8 minutes.  (Do not wait until edges brown.)

Ok... this is a way cool idea! I just found it! I'm not much of a cook, as Randon does most of the cooking. But, I do like to experiment with crockpot recipes. I would love to post crockpot recipes that we like if anyone would want them. Thanks! I am having fun looking at all the great recipes! :)
